 There are a number of clubs, societies and other groups in Chopwell which are for the benefit and enjoyment of residents of all ages.

You can find a weekly timetable of all regular activities and upcoming events such as fundraisers or meetings below.

You can drop in on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9:30 and 13:00, no appointment needed although you may need to wait. It will help the advisers if you bring with you any paperwork you might have about the issues you want to discuss.

The service is independent and confidential. It is provided by Citizens Advice Gateshead, funded by Gateshead Council and supported by local people.

We have been working on setting up a small, free to use allotment since the Summer ’17 and we would like people to come along and make use. If you would like to have a look at growing your own veg, want to help build a succulent garden or want to help in any way we meet on Sundays 10am-12pm officially but it is open 24/7 for use.
